Zotefoams deliver a strong H1 performance and expect record H2 (Interview)

Zotefoams plc (LON:ZTF) CEO David Stirling joins DirectorsTalk to discuss interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2020. David talks us through the main highlights, discusses the specific growth factors that generated good momentum in late Q2, on how he expects the second six months to deliver record sales, provides an update on the Poland facility and an outlook for the second half.

Zotefoams plc is a world leader in cellular materials technology delivering optimal material solutions for the benefit of society. Utilising a variety of unique manufacturing processes, including environmentally friendly nitrogen expansion for lightweight AZOTE® polyolefin and ZOTEK® high-performance foams, Zotefoams sells to diverse markets worldwide. It uses its own cellular materials to manufacture T-FIT® advanced insulation for demanding industrial markets. The company also owns and licenses patented microcellular foam technology to reduce plastic use in extrusion applications and for ReZorce® mono-material recyclable barrier packaging.

The company is headquartered in Croydon, UK, with additional manufacturing sites in Kentucky and Oklahoma, USA (foam products manufacture and conversion), Massachusetts, USA (MuCell Extrusion) and Jiangsu Province, China (T-FIT®). A third foam manufacturing site, in Poland, is planned to begin operations in 2020.
