Vertu Motors has taken on a second group of degree-level apprentices, joining a training programme it launched in 2017.
Some 13 students have enrolled in a scheme that offers a BA in business leadership and management. Last year 10 students were inducted into the programme, which sees them earning an annual £18,000 whole holding full-time, permanent roles in the business.
The programme is run in conjunction with Northumbria University, takes place over a three and a half year period, with £27,000 worth of tuition fees paid for by Vertu so that students leave university without debts and begin full time jobs. Much of the training involves participants working on site at dealerships across the Vertu Motors group.

The company sells new cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and used vehicles, as well as provides related aftersales services.
