Toople Plc new COO held senior positions at 02

Toople Plc (LSE: TOOP), a provider of bespoke telecom services to UK SMEs, has told DirectorsTalk about the appointment of Mark Evans as Chief Operating Officer effective as of 21 November 2016.

 

Mark has more than 14 years’ industry experience, having previously held senior positions at 02. He joined Toople shortly after the IPO and has been leading the Company’s digital omnichannel sales and contact centre strategy since launch.

 

Mark will now lead the Toople customer engagement functions both from a people, software and channel marketing perspective, ensuring our back office process is best in class and focusing on delivering a great customer experience to small businesses that is aligned to their needs.

 

Following the positive market entry and success in the small business segment, the business is acutely aligned to delivering a seamless customer experience, as recognised by our above industry standard Trust Pilot scores. Our smart and well targeted digital marketing programs are the start of the customer experience journey, whilst this is pivotal to winning prospective new customers, the real customer experience doesn’t start until purchase is made and the provisioning process begins.

 

The Company also announces that having successfully delivered the integration of the Group’s proprietary bespoke telecoms platform, Merlin, into the business, Dave Breith has now come to the end of his consultancy agreement with Toople. Toople owns the full Intellectual Property Rights for this platform. Dave’s last day with the Company will be on 18 November 2016 and the Board wishes him every success with his future business interests.
