Researchers hail “untapped potential” of dental pulp stem cells

Teeth are an “excellent” source of stem cells which can be used in dentistry and regenerative medicine, according to new research published in the British Dental Journal.

Scientists have confirmed that dental pulp found inside teeth contains mesenchymal stem cells, capable of forming bone, nerves, and connective tissue.
