Through the contractual JV the parties will pool certain specified assets and contribute joint resources including customer pipelines, create a single common brand and jointly market, procure and deliver commercial services to an expanded client base. Landscope and Geocurve will also share their knowhow, skills and experience in all aspects of surveying. Both Landscope and Geocurve believe that working collaboratively will enable them to provide exceptional quality survey data above land, on land, underground and in water and provide both companies with the readily available resources that they need, to deliver a complete survey package, with unrivalled customer service.  The aim of the JV is to combine knowledge and create a centre of excellence in mobile mapping, ultimately becoming a market leader in the acquisition and analysis of mobile mapping data.

Laura Grice, Director of Geocurve, said “The JV agreement with Landscope gives Geocurve the opportunity to ensure that the Pegasus Two:Ultimate mobile mapping equipment is utilised to its full capacity and at maximum value.  The higher value mobile mapping projects are part of a full suite of services which, alongside Landscope Engineering, can be provided at the highest standards.”

Martin Berry, Director of Landscope, said “Mobile mapping is fast becoming a foundation stone for the geomatics business. When augmented with mobile geophysical, hydrographic and inspection solutions the JV will be well placed to unlock many new opportunities.”
