Porsche Using Hemp in One of their Supercars

Most of us already know that hemp is a widely used and useful material. Well, I’m not sure I would have believed someone if they told me that Porsche has now used hemp in the development of one of their supercars, but they have!

Having been around for thousands of years, we have all seen historical records of hemp being used to create clothing, ropes, baskets and many other products. Despite its versatility however, it slowly got phased out of mainstream use for the most part and ended up being replaced by plastics, carbon fibres and other man-made materials which were preferred due to their flexibility, strength and production costs.

 

Sativa Investments (NEX:SATI) is the UK’s first medicinal cannabis investment vehicle. After investing in two North American businesses, it is now progressing a UK seed to consumer investment strategy with 100% ownership of businesses involved in the production, testing and compliance, research & development including pharmacology, commercialisation and sales & marketing of medicinal cannabis and cannabidiol products.
