Online high school expands for junior pupils

An online high school founded by a teacher from Crickhowell is to expand its offering to include pupils in years five and six.

InterHigh Juniors’s qualified and experienced primary teachers will lead classes limited to a maximum of 15 pupils. It will also offer a six-week Summer School, which runs until 31 August 2018.

Paul Daniell, a former teacher and now headteacher of the online school, said: “I saw pupils struggling with the style of learning and the hustle and bustle of secondary school life. The amount of teaching received was also reduced considerably due to disruption and discipline issues.”
