Oil gains as Hurricane Zeta limits Gulf of Mexico output

Oil prices headed upwards on Tuesday, October 27 after the upgrading of Tropical Storm Zeta into Hurricane Zeta.

Although some companies, such as Chevron, had already started to evacuate non-essential staff from offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico over the weekend, Monday witnessed a more comprehensive withdrawal as the situation intensified.
