Northland Capital partners view: These are very encouraging results from Savannah Resources that has confirmed the high-grade nature of mineralisation at the Dog’s Bone Zone and expanded the known high-grade mineralisation at Mahab 4. Drilling is continuing at Mahab 4 with the final results expected early next year. Importantly, this drilling has also demonstrated the presence of significant gold grades, up to 1.9g/t Au, as gold was not historically assayed for it adds significant economic upside to the existing deposits.
Drill results from Blocks 4 and 5 |
n Savannah Resources has interested high-grade copper, zinc and gold from its initial drill programme at Block 4 and 5 in Oman.
n Results include: 9m at 4.86% Cu, 1.54% Zn, 1.3g/t Au and 37.3g/t Ag from 103m (15B4RC003) at the Dog’s Bone Zone and 6.6 at 6.92% Cu, 5.6% Zn, 0.3g/t Au and 23.8g/t Ag from 67m in 15B5DD005. n Drilling has been delayed by mechanical issues with the drill rigs and the programme is expected to be completed in January 2016. |
