New hybrid focus in executive sector

Audi is shaking up the executive sector with its powerful new TFSI e plug-in hybrid technology. Already available on the Q5 range, it will be added to the A6, A7 and A8 model ranges shortly.

Hybrid vehicles offer many advantages compared to conventionally-powered petrol or diesel vehicles.First of all, they are designed to maximise fuel efficiency.According to the RAC, they typically use up to 30% less fuel per mile than conventionally-powered vehicles so save money on fuel costs.

They also emit on average between 25% and 35% less carbon dioxide, pay less road tax, and are less likely to incur congestion charges.Hybrid cars can travel through London’s congestion charge zone free of charge, for example.

Marshall Motor Holdings Plc (LON:MMH), together with its subsidiaries, engages in retailing passenger cars and commercial vehicles in the United Kingdom. It sells new and used vehicles; and provides after sales services, such as servicing, body shop repairs, and parts sales.
