More than 5,000 people are preparing a collective lawsuit in Spain against the Volkswagen group to demand financial compensation for all buyers of Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen itself affected by the ‘dieselgate’.
In a statement, the TDI Affected platform ensures that each client of the group harmed by the scandal has the right to compensation of up to 6,000 euros. In September 2015, the United States authorities verified that diesel vehicles of different brands of the German group were equipped with illegal software that altered CO2 emissions downwards. In addition to those mentioned, this problem also affected Audi and Porsche vehicles. In total, the affected vehicles were estimated at 11 million.
