Jaguar’s I-Pace electric SUV is one of the world’s fastest SUVs, but a former race car manufacturer has turned it into an even bigger beast.
Key to the modifications are carbon fibre panels in place of aluminium, part of a weight-saving program that shaved 100kg off the portly 2133kg body of the I-Pace.
There are also race track-inspired carbon ceramic brakes to further reduce weight and improve stopping power, part of a performance upgrade that touches all facets of the five-door SUV.
Surface Transforms plc (LON:SCE) are experts in the development and production of carbon-ceramic materials and the UK’s only manufacturer of carbon-ceramic brakes for automotive use.
