Lighthouse Group PLC Affinity Contract Renewal

Lighthouse Group plc (LON:LGT), the national financial adviser of choice for Middle Britain, has today announced that it has agreed the renewal of its contract with The Money Advice Service to be the preferred provider of expert financial advice to its employees.

The contract is being renewed for a further year from 15 April 2018 and under the terms Lighthouse will be the preferred provider of financial advice to Money Advice Service employees, encompassing advice on savings, investments, pensions and protection, plus mortgages.

The Money Advice Service, which was launched in April 2011, is an independent organisation whose statutory objectives are to enhance the understanding and knowledge of financial issues amongst members of the public in the UK by offering guidance.

This renewal consolidates the growing list of affinity partnerships for Lighthouse, which includes major employee organisations such as UNISON, BA Clubs, Prospect, The Fire Brigades Union and the Royal College of Nursing, highlighting Lighthouse’s capacity to deliver financial planning solutions to a diverse and substantial audience.

Jon Penberthy-Smith, Customer Director at The Money Advice Service, commented: “We are very pleased to have renewed this contract with Lighthouse, as this will enable our employees to continue to access financial planning assistance across a broad range of financial topics and will help them to make the most of their own financial planning opportunities”.

Malcolm Streatfield, Chief Executive Officer of Lighthouse, commented: “The Board is delighted that we have renewed this partnership with The Money Advice Service. We look forward to further developing our relationship over the coming months and working closely with Money Advice Service employees, who themselves are dedicated to helping others, and to assisting them with their overall financial planning requirements. The Board remains committed to developing further our affinity partnerships throughout the UK”.
