LEGO models made from 500,000 bricks coming to Festival Place

Celebrating 50 years since the first moon landing, Bricks in Space, a collection of galactic LEGO brick models, will be on display at Festival Place from April 13 to 23.

Families are invited to take part in a mission to discover planets, astronauts, rockets and even a friendly alien.

There will be 14 Bricks in Space models to find on the trail including, standing at 1.9m tall, a Neil Armstrong model made up of over 57,000 bricks, while the 2.8m-tall Apollo 11 Saturn V rocket has 68,583 bricks.
