Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) is looking to start using drones for aerial monitoring of the progress of its construction projects, reports TOI. The plan is to have aerial monitoring to take place on a fortnightly basis.
Among the projects which will be surveyed in such a manner will be the New South Parallel Runway (NSPR) project spanning 624 acres, the T2 terminal and apron project spanning 166 acres, as well as the forecourt project area of around 128 acres.
