Jubilee Metals Group PLC Appoint Dr Evan Kirby as executive director

Jubilee Metals Group Plc (LON:JLP) have announced the appointment of Dr Evan Kirby as executive director to the Jubilee board of directors with immediate effect. Dr Evan Kirby replaces Andrew Sarosi who steps down as a director of Jubilee.

Leon Coetzer, Chief Executive Officer, says: “Andrew has been a very dedicated and loyal supporter of Jubilee. Andrew played a key role in defining Jubilee’s vision and assisting to reshape Jubilee into a fast growing metals recovery company.

I hope to host Andrew at the opening of our Zambian offices and technical centre which we are launching to support both the Kabwe project as well as our further growth aspirations in Zambia.

I am also excited to welcome Dr Evan Kirby onto our board. Evan’s in-depth technical insight and wide industry experience in various leadership roles will strongly complement our board at a time when Jubilee seeks to aggressively grow its global metals recovery footprint.”

Dr Kirby is a metallurgical engineer with over 40 years’ experience in the metals and mining industry. His breadth of experience extends across both large mining corporations as well as international consulting engineering firms. Dr Kirby has played leading roles in numerous metals & minerals projects, including many world-class developments. His experience base includes amongst others gold, platinum group metals, base metals (including copper, nickel, and cobalt) and battery metals (graphite, lithium, vanadium). More recently he has used his in-depth metallurgical processing knowledge and stature in the mining and metals industry to assist companies to formulate and implement their growth strategies. Dr Kirby’s knowledge and experience will complement the Jubilee Metals Group Board as Jubilee aggressively pursues its growth strategy in the Metals Recovery Industry.
