The scientific world is really excited because graphene has so much potential to replace existing materials, providing new products with enhanced characteristics. However, it takes a lot of skill to explore each application and make it commercially viable. – ADRIAN POTTS, APPLIED GRAPHENE MATERIALS
Graphene was hailed as a breakthrough when it was discovered at the University of Manchester in 2004 due to its incredible properties as a single atomic layer material – it’s strong (tougher than diamonds!), lightweight and corrosion resistant, and has thermal and electrical properties too. Turning this amazing substance into commercial use has taken some time but, after 15 years of extensive R&D and partner support, AGM’s collaborative projects are starting to bear fruit, with products now entering the market that contain its high quality graphene nanoplatelets – a practical, usable form of the material that can find real applications.
Applied Graphene Materials (LON:AGM) manufacture production ready graphene based Genable® dispersions, with product integration expertise to deliver multi-functional performance enhancements across a wide range of applications.
