Ilika has been awarded a circa £0.2m grant by the UK government technology and science advancement body ‘Innovate UK’, to conduct a two year development project on smart nanomaterials for the next generation of electronic data storage. The project is in partnership with Seagate, the market leading company in hard disk drive (‘HDD’) magnetic recording technology, and the university of Southampton.
