The Great British Bake Off contestant Rosie Brandreth-Poynter has thanked the Channel 4 show’s crew for managing her nut allergy.
The veterinary surgeon, who was eliminated from the competition last night after a testing Patisserie Week, revealed that the series employed a ‘nut runner’ to keep her from having an allergic reaction.
Rosie praised the lengths the production team went to in a heartwarming letter she penned after the episode, writing: ‘The crew were incredible – they managed my nut allergy so well and kept everything safe – including the awesome NUT RUNNER – how many people can put that on a CV?’
