Marshall Motor Holdings PLC (LON:MMH) is a top 10 UK motor dealer group. Since 2008 the Group has restructured its dealership portfolio, operating 103 franchise dealerships and representing 24 brands across 25 counties in England. Turnover is in excess of £2.1bn per annum.

Since the beginning of 2008 Marshall Motor Holdings has added 86 franchises to its portfolio and now operates 103 franchise dealership businesses representing 24 different manufacturer brands across 25 counties in England. It also operates another 18 stand-alone businesses including a leasing business, 5 TPS centres, 3 bodyshops, and 5 used car centres. Marshall has a turnover in excess of £2.1bn per annum and over 4,100 colleagues.

The company currently sells over 100,000 new and used vehicles and over 1,000,000 service and repair hours per annum.  Marshall also operates five trade parts specialists, seven used car centres, four standalone body shops, one forecourt and one PDI centre. Marshall Motor Holdings aims to be the UK’s premier automotive retail and leasing group as recognized by its colleagues, customers, business partners and shareholders.


Marshall Motor Holdings strategy changed in 2008 with the aim of building a scalable national dealer group. This strategy would reduce Marshall Motor Holding’s exposure to its historical East Anglian presence. Over the period between 2008 and 2016 restructuring took place with many businesses being acquired and disposed in order to generate a balanced portfolio of brand partners.

Marshall Leasing

Marshall Leasing is an integrated leasing business. The leasing business is the 26th largest leasing company in the UK (FN50 2015). The business is service led rather than price, and has been rated in the top 3 in an independent Customer Survey by Fleeteye, and has been voted Association of Car and Fleet Operator Lease Supplier of the Year, 2010 and 2013, and was highly commended in the Fleet News Awards 2016, in the Leasing Company of the year- up to 15,000 vehicle category.
