Castleton Technology plc Selected as Housing Technology Partner for Connect Housing Association

Castleton Technology plc (LON: CTP), the software and managed services provider to the public and not-for-profit sectors, today announced that it has been selected as Housing Technology Partner for Connect Housing Association, providers of over 3,000 homes across West Yorkshire. The agreement, which is valued at £1.3 million over a five-year period, will see Castleton deliver a suite of fully integrated solutions to support the transformation of Connect’s service delivery and enhance business processes.

Following an in depth competitive dialogue tender process, Castleton will work in partnership with Connect to deliver an integrated ERP Housing solution, using the entire suite of Castleton’s solutions. These solutions include Castleton’s CRM, Housing, Financials, Repairs, Contractor Portal, P2P, EDRM, Reporting, Data Services and Asset Management. Connect will further invest in solutions that will enhance their Digital Engagement capabilities with their customers using Castleton’s Agile solution, Communication Manager and Castleton.DIGITAL.

The project is now underway and is due to be completed with all solutions live in April 2020.

Helen Lennon, CEO for Connect commented: “Having gone through an extensive competitive dialogue procurement process, we are delighted to appoint Castleton as our Housing Technology Partner for the next five years and beyond. They engaged with us on a comprehensive basis throughout the process and have invested a lot of time and effort into understanding our organisational needs and growth strategy moving forward. This is indicative of the relationship that we are now experiencing as we embark on a significant implementation project. Working with Castleton, we are confident their solutions will facilitate our passion for a fairer society, where people’s homes, health and happiness matter.”

Dean Dickinson, CEO of Castleton said: “We are delighted to have been chosen by Connect to help them achieve their digital transformation strategy and their ambitious plans for growth in the coming years. Working in partnership with Castleton, Connect will embark on a major channel shift, which will impact both employees and customers positively. Employees will now be able to access information anytime anywhere. Importantly, Connect customers will reap the benefits of the partnership and they will now have the ability to communicate with Connect in a number of ways on different devices. This contract is further testament to the Group’s ability to deliver on its strategic objectives.”

Cluid go-live

Clúid Housing Association is now fully live across all of Castleton software products. A ten year contract with Clúid was signed in January 2017 for a fully integrated solution, with various modules going live on a phased basis since then, with the final two modules, Housing and CRM, going live in December. Clúid was Castleton’s first customer to take the complete suite of software products, which is testament to the success of the Group’s ability to offer a one stop solution for housing associations and its ability to deliver on its cross-selling strategy.

Dean Dickinson, CEO of Castleton said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Clúid during this transformational period to get us to this position. This is a huge milestone for the Group, being the first full product suite delivery which demonstrates our ability to be a “one stop shop” serving the social housing sector and we look forward to delivering this to other clients in the period ahead. The Cluid and Castleton teams have worked tirelessly to ensure that our software will be beneficial from day one and we look forward to seeing what the next ten years will offer both parties.”

As of July 2018, MXC Capital Ltd (LON:MXCP) holds a 15.39% share in Castleton Technology.
