Call for tougher measures at tourist attractions over peanut allergy fears

The mum of a young girl with a severe peanut allergy believes stricter measures are needed to stop cross contamination of food at two of Stirling area’s top tourist attractions.

She took her daughter Juliet, 14, and 11-year-old son to the Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre and Wallace Monument.

And after visiting cafe outlets at both attractions, Mrs Hobson expressed reservations about the way foods containing nuts were separated.

Allergy Therapeutics plc (LON:AGY) is a market-leading, pioneering immunology business with specialist experience in the research and development of allergy treatments.
