Adept4 Case Study: Schofield Insurance Brokers

The Context

As a founding member of the UK’s longest established insurance network, Schofield Insurance Brokers engenders a culture underpinned by a strong service ethic. One of the Directors, Tom Butler, explains, “We have a commitment to our customers to provide excellent independent advice to support their long-term goals and protect their assets. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and ultimately, insurance is about trust and assurance, and we take our responsibilities seriously.”

“We had gone to Adept4 (originally, The Weston Group) for 15 years to supply our mobile phones and had built up a long-term relationship of mutual trust and understanding. We started to discuss our options – what we could do now to make things more efficient, as well as being flexible enough to support future developments and long-term business needs.

“Although we considered other solutions, the deciding factor was that the guys at Adept4 knew us. They knew how we worked and what we wanted to achieve. From our side, we know who we’re dealing with and that they’re always there. It’s not a case of speaking to someone in an anonymous call centre miles away and having to go through the same questions every time we get in touch.”

Adept4 plc is seeking to become a leading provider of ‘IT as a Service’ to the SME sector utilising leading third party cloud and infrastructure services which concentrate on creating a value proposition focused on aggregated solutions with a single trusted partner managing the customer experience and support. As of 1st March 2018, MXC Capital Ltd (LON:MXCP) holds a 25% share in Adept4
