Action Hotels add an experienced Middle East “Hotels” Finance Director to the fold

Action Hotels LON:AHCG, a leading owner, developer and asset manager of branded three and four-star hotels in the Middle East and Australia, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Lindley as the Company’s Finance Director, who will be joining the Company’s senior management team on 1st June 2016, taking over from Katie Shelton, who has been acting as Interim CFO.

 

Andrew is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Economics from Reading University, UK.

 

Andrew has a more than 20 years of experience in senior finance positions in the UK and the Middle East.

 

Andrew was previously Vice President Finance – Africa for Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts, looking after a portfolio of 25 Hotels across Africa and cruise operations in Egypt. He began his career in the hospitality industry in the UK with the Forte Group plc, and subsequently MacDonald Hotels plc. He then worked with 20:20 Mobile Group Ltd. in Senior Finance roles in the UK and the UAE. Andrew returned to hotels in 2013 as CFO of Abjar Hotels International, a hospitality company with a portfolio of franchise and managed hotels in Dubai.
