£5m tree seedling glasshouse facility opens at Delamere Nursery

The growing facility covers a hectare and is set to increase timber production, with environmental controls creating better growing conditions for the four million seedlings it will house. Cambridge HOK built the Lobslack nursery, where one million trees will be propagated a year.

We also know that, globally, forests and terrestrial soils combined store more than two and half times as much carbon as the atmosphere. And we know that, with some changes in how we manage our landscapes, they could emit less carbon and store much more.
