Two new large London contract wins for RedstoneConnect

Mark Braund, Chief Executive Officer, commented on the new contract wins: “RedstoneConnect’s ability to deploy future-proof technology in a seamless and cost-efficient manner has been central in securing these high-profile contracts.

“Both our DAS and IBC products continue to gain sales momentum across our client base, further positioning our business as the provider of choice as enterprises further seek to future-proof their in-building mobile connectivity.”

RedstoneConnect (AIM: REDS), a leading provider of technology and services for smart buildings and commercial spaces, has secured two new agreements for its In-Building Cellular (“IBC”) and Distributed Antenna Systems (“DAS”)solutions, further extending the Company’s reach into the Financial Services sector.

The first agreement is to both install and manage an IBC solution at the new London headquarters of a leading global investment bank. This will deliver reliable and continuous mobile coverage across the entire of the 850,000 sq. ft. site forall 6,500 staff, as well as visitors and support teams, across all mobile networks. Construction is scheduled for completion by mid-2018.

The IBC solution utilises CrossFire distributed antenna technology, of which RedstoneConnect are exclusive distributors, and will enable the customer to provide the same service across its additional office locations within a 70km radius, while housing the mobile network operator equipment in the original location.

The second contract is for RedstoneConnect to provide an IBC and DAS solution for a global financial institution across two sites in Central London. The two offices occupy a combined area of almost 300,000 sq. ft. across 18 floors and accommodate over 5,000 people, ensuring reliable access to secure voice and data services.

The DAS and IBC solutions will be deployed to ensure reliable continuous mobile coverage across both sites and for all staff and visitors, with RedstoneConnect’s unique service allowing the majority of the operator equipment to be housed at just one location and the IBC solution remotely deployed to the additional location.
