Platinum status by Mastercard for Vipera Plc’s Digital Wallet

Vipera (LON:VIP), the specialist provider of mobile financial services this morning announced that it has been awarded Platinum status by Mastercard for its Digital Wallet. One of only 4 platinum vendors on Mastercard Engage, Mastercard’s new global digital vendor directory, Vipera is also the platinum wallet with the widest global reach: locally supported on 3 continents.

The Vipera Digital Wallet, a market leader in the Middle East, is currently being deployed by processors across Eastern Europe and is also seeing keen interest in Asia where the Motif platform supports over a million active users in Thailand alone.

As a converged wallet, the Vipera Digital Wallet allows users to pay securely and swiftly on any digital device or channel: online, in-app or in-store. The Wallet also supports Loyalty & Reward programmes, allowing users to earn, store and redeem points and coupons within the wallet. Other value added services such as Personal Financial Management tools and the management of credit and debit cards with Alerts and Controls can also be incorporated.

Vipera is a supplier of mobile financial solutions to some of the largest banks and processors across Europe and Asia, and has been driving innovation in the sector for over a decade. Its Alerts and Controls solutions has been adopted by two of Germany’s largest banks and its popular Card Control product remains one of the most downloaded solutions of its kind in the world.

Marco Casartelli, CEO of Vipera, noted: “Vipera is delighted to partner with Mastercard. Platinum status is recognition of our shared passion for delivering secure and innovative payment solutions to consumers wherever and whenever they choose to shop and pay”.
