Nektan PLC (AIM: NKTN), a leading international B2B gaming solutions and services provider, has signed a partnership agreement with leading casino games developer High 5 Games (“H5G”).
Under the terms of the agreement, Nektan has become the distributor of H5G content for real-money gaming in Europe with exclusive rights to the H5G casino catalogue. Nektan will also expand the current real money gaming distribution of H5G’s casino catalogue by making the content available in Canada as well. Since it was founded in 1995, H5G has created many of the industry’s most acclaimed and popular slot titles across land-based, online and social gaming markets. It has a portfolio of more than 70 interactive games for real-money gaming live in European markets, including proven hits such as Secrets of the Forest, Hoot Loot, Golden Knight and Shadow of the Panther.
Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, Nektan will immediately assume responsibility for the management of H5G’s technology and games in Europe. Nektan will also have the right to port H5G’s existing flash games portfolio and back catalogue into HTML5 for mobile distribution and bring the licensing infrastructure under its own. Nektan will also take responsibility for all existing H5G European interactive customer relationships. The H5G portfolio of games will be integrated to Nektan’s managed casino network. The terms of the partnership are subject to a transitional period where the parties will confirm regulatory approval and final operating details.
The addition of the H5G casino games to Nektan’s European distribution portfolio complements Nektan’s existing agreement with Spin Games. Both partnerships significantly strengthen Nektan’s B2B business, which leverages the Group’s multi-geographic assets, expertise and reach, by delivering a set of services and solutions, from games licensing to software, across European and North American markets. The Group expects to add further high-quality studios and games to the distribution platform, which is powered by Nektan’s proprietary games engine, Evolve Lite, which includes meta-game player engagement features, such as free spins and jackpots with tournaments and achievements to follow shortly.
