Elegant Hotels – Exciting Renovations at The House

The House by Elegant Hotels Group PLC (LON:EHG), a chic adults-only boutique hotel on the island’s West Coast, is set to undergo extensive renovations to modernize its current ocean-inspired design. Between 18th August and 29th September 2017, the 34-room property will be closed as improvements are made to its common spaces, all while maintaining its signature home-away-from-home feel.

Situated on the platinum west coast of Barbados, The House by Elegant Hotels is known for its luxurious all-suite accommodations, relaxed beach house feel, highly attentive service ambassadors and lavish amenities, ranging from champagne breakfasts to poolside jetlag revival massages. This upcoming improvement marks an exciting time for The House and Elegant Hotels Group, as the company is committed to investing in its existing properties, as well as expanding its current portfolio.

SENSE OF ARRIVAL

The charming hotel is reminiscent of a fabled castle with its terraced brick walls and arched wooden doorways, illuminated by the soft glow of tiki torches. Upon entering The House, guests are greeted with stunning views of the west coast peeking through the palms in the open-air courtyard. In an effort to create a greater sense of arrival, the outdoor space will be outfitted with lush landscaping, relaxing water features and a small yoga pavilion to foster a sense of relaxation.

Beyond the courtyard, the open-air oceanfront living room lounge area will get a complete redesign with a new layout, furnishings, artwork and lighting. As the pulse of the hotel, and the gathering area for breakfast, afternoon canapés and sunset cocktails, the space will retain its chic colour palette of sophisticated white fabrics, but will be complimented by ocean-inspired accents, including pale walnut and teak wood tones.
